The 70 series is the cruiser cruiser series, which has been
produced since 1984.
1984-1999 years: the 70/75 series of off-road vehicles replaced the
four wheel drive of the 40/45 Series in 1984.
The shape keeps the family similarity with the 40/45 series, but
becomes more sharp and angular. 70/71 series is short
wheelbase(SWB), 73/74 is medium wheelbase (MWB), 75/77 is long
wheelbase (LWB).

(pickups) and hard roofs (HTs) of troop carriers.
TOYOTA also produced light vehicles. From 1985 to 1996, there were
70 series and sold around the world, initially as Bandiera or land
cruiser two, later as Prado.
Among them, Prado's name was retained, and each revision pulled it
further from the roots of 70 series.
Since 1997, Prado has been called the 90 series and has become a 70
series of passenger 4X4.
